Tell us a little bit about this petDaisy and Chick were rescued together, found abandoned and afraid wandering a farm in Kentucky. They were malnourished and filled with disease, their life has been filled with adventure, and not all of it good. Daisy and Chick are nervous dogs, and each has permanent damage to their faces. But Lucky Tales Rescue took care of them. Sadly, when they were put up for adoption, no one wanted them. Damaged goods, some would say. Over 6 months later Anthony entered the picture and adopted them in September of 2021, unsure at first if two dogs was a good idea. Yet Daisy and Chick are a bonded pair, whether biological or not, Daisy acts as Chick’s mom. Since then, however, after a little getting used to each other, the three have been inseparable. Their time together has been filled making new memories and ensuring Daisy and Chick get spoiled to make up for their past. While the pups are still weary of the world around them, they smile and love life. Daisy, Chick, and their dad have lived in 4 states, traveled thousands of miles together, and are always by each other’s side.
