Cat's Story (150 words)My real name is Bamboo, but I am called Boo because I was adopted close to Halloween. I was afraid when I got to my new home, and I hid behind the sofa until one of my people tempted me with a bit of chicken. I decided that I like chicken! My people think I am smart, inquisitive, goofy, and kind of bossy. I live inside, where I spend a lot of time watching birds and squirrels from the door to the deck. One of my favorite things to do is go outside on my purple leash. I like to nibble on grass and explore the little wooded area behind where I live. From the deck rail, I can watch everything that is happening. I am a happy cat who is so glad that the nice people who love me came to Cat Welfare and chose me to take home.
