Cat's Story (150 words)Rae came from our feral cat colony in 2002 with an injury that required one of her front legs to be amputated when she was only a couple weeks old. She recovered quickly and came to live with us in our home. Several months later the last of the kittens from the colony was born and we fostered him in our house. Rae had never expressed an interest in the other fosters we had but she was drawn to Stephen as if she knew he was her brother or nephew. Stephen was adopted to a great, loving home through Cat Welfare when he was old enough to be adopted and Rae lived with us for nearly 17 wonderful years - going to the Rainbow Bridge on 6/20/2019. We will always remember our little "braveheart".
