Cat's Story (150 words)Katie was a rescue. The first time I met her, she immediately jumped on my lap and purred so hard her little body shook. Katie is 7.5 lbs of energy with legs that are like pogo sticks. She loves people and will greet everyone at the door. If they don't talk to her first, she very vocally lets them know she is there. She loves to spend her day jumping, racing crazily around the house chasing her toys and communing with the squirrels outside the back door window. She is also a snuggler and loves to lay on my shoulder and be rocked. When she finally collapses, she finds the softest spot she can on my sweater that is now her sweater, and enjoys the last of the evening sun.
