About PhotoHi, I'm Xander. I was living in a Walmart parking lot when I was discovered by an SBACC volunteer. I am a relaxed, handsome, and friendly boy and also quite a talker. I flop over for belly rubs when I see you coming and purr up a storm when you pet or brush me. Unfortunately, I was found to have a significant heart murmur and a cardiac consultation revealed a serious congenital heart defect that I've been told will probably shorten my life. I'm on medication now and doing well, but it's really important that I don't get too stimulated, which is hard to do with so many roommates and visitors! What would be wonderful would be a stress-free foster home with someone who could give me my daily medications and take me to my cardiologist appointments.
