About PhotoIlena was adopted in March of 2024 just hitting a year old. She was one of five siblings who arrived at just 3 days old, they were all found in a puddle without their mama in sight. Shortly after returning to the shelter from growing up in a foster home, they were all part of the ringworm epidemic which took months to be cleared and pushed back time from being adopted sooner. Once cleared Ilena just could not catch a break, it was later diagnosed that she had a bad case of stomatitis which required a full mouth extraction. She was the last of her litter still waiting for that forever home and deserved one so badly. So after all this time seeing her grow and taking care of her I finally wanted her to be mine! She is doing amazing now and doesn’t let anything stop her from being the sweetest girl ever. She finally gets to enjoy a loving warm home with siblings Paisley and Preston who were also adopted from SBACC!
