About PhotoHans Blix a.k.a. Hansome came to me after hours at SBACC as an emergency kitten found in a gutter, very sick. He required tube feeding, and intensive medical attention for a few days. I ended up taking him home to foster and became a foster failure. Hans essentially started to get some behavioral issues due to being lonely so fast forward to a year later. Quail the little brown ticked tabby you see on the left getting her cheek kissed, was found on a freeway offramp completely blind staring up at the sky, trying to make sense of the vehicles flying by. She was luckily picked up by a wonderful family with a big heart. She was brought to SBACC and soon after had to have enucleation since her eyes were so damaged. She later was diagnosed with cryptosporidium, which caused chronic diarrhea. We have since gotten that under control with a special diet. They both have their unexpected unique personalities. But they always have a blast playing together and taking care of each other. They act completely like brother and sister. Best combination ever!!!!!😻😽
