Dogs storyNalu's adoption was meant to be after his owners had spotted him twice - once on the internet and again at a Rescue Pup booth at a Holiday Season craft event. As soon as we met Hapa, we fell instantly in love. He was born July 4th 2005 and was originally named "Ben" after Benjamin Franklin. His breed is predicted as a Retriever/Labrador/Newfoundland and grew to be a big boy at over 150 pounds. He loved going for walks, Dog Park and playing with his friends Hoshi and Brandy. He had a wonderfully long life and was known as a gentle giant. He passed away this past spring just before his 12th birthday.
