Dogs storySteve and Sue Heaps were fostering Jasper when we were thinking about adding another dog to our household with the passing of our Rescue Pup alum Jacko. This were put on hold when our Gigi girl, also a Rescue Pup alum became very sick, 6 months after losing Jacko. Gigi crossed the rainbow bridge and we were devistated. We felt we needed some breathing room to grieve, but our hearts and house were very empty without a dog. Steve and Sue Heaps continued to foster Jasper and had made the decision that if we ended up not adopting him they would adopt him. They felt that if Jasper was not with us, he would be with them. We soon met Jasper and the Heaps as well, and well, the rest is history.
