Pet's StoryJaxx was adopted from a shelter in Salem, OR. His human Kayla is a lifelong Alaskan and they were both very pleased to return to SE Alaska after Kayla’s medical training. Now Jaxx provides amazing companionship to Kayla while she provides medical care to Juneau. Jaxx enjoys hiking and has reached the summit of many peaks around Juneau including Mt. Juneau (pictured). Jaxx also enjoys mountain biking, paddle boarding, and back yard lounging. Originally quite a shy guy, Jaxx is coming out of his shell more every day and is a great friend for outdoor adventure. This year he has a few more trails to check off his list and hopes to see you out adventuring as well!
