Pet's Story or Brief BioI was volunteering at Canine Rescue of Central PA one day in December of 2023 and was asked to help with the intake of a dog that was being returned back to our rescue after 3 years with a family. She had such a great personality and was so cute that I couldn’t understand why she was being returned. The owners had said she was having accidents in the house and was being left alone for most of the day because of family activities and work. I couldn’t stop thinking about her after that and each day I volunteered I walked her and showered her with love. We had just lost our previous rescue and felt our other dog needed a partner. I applied to foster Lexi and she became ours on Valentine’s Day 2024. We chose that day because the outline of the black of her snoot was shaped like a heart. We are so thankful for Lexi joining our family. She is easy and always so happy. Thank you Canine Rescue of Central PA.
