When was your pet adopted?


Pet's Story or Brief BioLucy was adopted in 2020 and after working through her anxiety, has become an active and loving member of her family. Canine Rescue of Central PA knew that Lucy had found the right family when during a family visit at the rescue, she jumped up into her family’s truck and didn’t want to get out. These days Lucy enjoys long walks and truck rides with the windows down so she “talks” to everybody around. During the day she is part of her neighborhood’s community watch, keeping an eye on everything from her living room window and lets her family know when anyone comes too close to her property. Though she doesn’t play with toys, she does love playing with the hose and sprinkler outside in the warm weather, along with tagging along to family picnics. Lucy is also an educator like her parents, enjoying volunteering at school with them once a month for spa days and check-ups, helping high school students train to become veterinarian assistants. She has enjoyed her summer vacation!
