Pet's Story or Brief BioLexi was surrendered to our rescue while I happened to be there volunteering and couldn't understand how such a sweet, lovable dog could be given up after over 3 years with the family. I read her history and reason for surrender, and knew this girl had just not been given a good chance. I fostered her for a short time until both my husband, our dog Winston and I knew she would be a perfect fit for our home. We have never regretted our decision and couldn't imagine life without her.
