Cat's Story (150 words)Ellie Marie was a rescue kitty whom I stumbled upon at the Cat Fancier's Association World Show 2012 in Columbus,Ohio. Since I love cats, I decided to go to the event at the Columbus Convention Center. Upon strolling the floor for a couple of hours visiting all of the pure-bred, hoity-toity cats on display, I noticed in the far back corner of the venue an area with many cats in cages and ventured over to find that it was a Cat Rescue Shelter from Dayton, Ohio trying to adopt out cats and find them good, forever homes. Gazing upon Ellie,I asked the staff if I could hold her in my arms and she stayed there for a good half hour, while she purred her way into my heart and the rest is history. The Shelter did not want to split Ellie and her sister Josie since they were abandoned together and asked if I could take both and I said YES! Best Decision Ever! Ellie Marie loves taking up residence in my Bathroom Sink.
