Cat's Story (150 words)
Pouty was a stray cat who frequented my neighborhood a few years ago. He and his brother frequently came to my porch for food. I was able to trap him and had him neutered through SOS of Columbus, and eventually released him back into the wilds of the South Side. However, now that Pouty was neutered and had a dry place to sleep and a source of food, he decided his roaming ways were no longer necessary. He now lives on my property as an outdoor cat with his fellow TNR tabby, Tom. They sleep on my porch in the summer and winter in my garage. Pouty will occasionally come in my house, but neither he nor Tom have any desire to become house cats, and all my efforts to persuade them otherwise have failed. Pouty is an extremely handsome young scamp, a true cat's cat. He is aloof, mischievous, and fleeting with his affections. But oh does he love chin scratches!
