Cat's Story (150 words)My life was forever changed in 2012 when I walked into Cat Welfare and a striking orange cat came up to me, looked into my eyes, and said, “you’re mine.” My husband and I named him Goblin because he was mischievous and playful; he would steal our clothes, snuggle with stuffed animals, and binge eat an entire bag of cat treats in the middle of the night whenever mom would forget to put them away. He was king kitty in our house and captured the hearts of everyone he met. Above all, he was a most loyal, affectionate, and loving friend. His favourite place to be was right by us, his paws resting on our hands. We are eternally grateful and honoured he chose us to walk with him on this journey in life. We feel his presence always, reminding us love (and a cat) is all we need.
