Pet's Name Linq

How old is your pet?Between 1-2 years, being he is a rescue, we can't entirely sure.

What is his/her favorite pastime?Linq loves to chew on toys and sticks. He also loves if you chase him around the backyard. He's become a regular at the local dog parks, where he very much enjoys playing with other dogs, if they can keep up. He also loves to hunt on walks, which we will need to work on. Though he has great spirit, he does need some work on his house training. He still is getting the hang of the kennel, and not going potty in the house. He's also started to play with his KONG toy, learning that it's stuffed with delicious treats!

Why would he/she like to be the next Paws Walk Grand Marshal?Linq was a reservation rescue from Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota, conducted by 4 Luv of Dog. We saw his post after he was relocated to Circle of Friends in Grand Forks, and knew we needed to meet him. He was shot on the reservation and was very timid when we first met. We knew we had to bring the sweet boy home and give him a good life. By day two at home, he loved everyone. He's great with other dogs, and just wants to play. He's a great example of a successful rescue, and how great adopting a pet can really change the life of an animal that comes from a bad background. He wants to walk to represent all his friends that have been rescued from bad situations with hopes that the more awareness is brought to the issue, the less it'll happen in the future. He is a great representative of what the positive work of local rescues can do for animals.
