Description of what this piece of art means to the artistThis is special to me because my little brother is a mended little heart and thats why I entered. My little brother is one years old and a couple days after he came home from the hospital the doctors found out about the heart defect and then he was in the hospital for a couple weeks. When they were done with the surgery they said he probably would have to get surgery in a couple more days, but instead his heart was ok. When I went in after his surgery he was connected to a bunch of tubes and looked funny and weird. There was one in his belly button and a bunch in his chest and on his face. He still has his scar. He is alright for right now but he will still need another surgery after his birthday one day. He is ok now and that’s what makes me happy. That’s why I made this bravery bag because that’s how much I care about all the kids at the hospital. On the bag, my brother is in the middle and there are two babies and two other kids. And there is a coloring book and some markers in the bag.
