BioShonda is the Executive Director of Community and Media Relations for the Leon County Sheriff’s Office. In this role, Shonda oversees how information is disseminated for public safety as well as coordinates and promotes outreach initiatives for the agency, all while creating and maintaining community partnerships. She also leads the “All In” an initiative the LCSO and recruits’ community involvement for Leon County Sheriff’s Citizen Academy which aids in support and promotes community partnerships. One of her many accomplishments took place in 2018 where the agency LCSO was awarded a top award, Statewide Community Relations Award form Florida Public Relations Association.
