Pet's Story
In 2010, a stray dog at just under 1-year old was rescued from Maricopa County Animal Shelter in Phoenix, AZ. His name was Willy, but his new human named him Kilo. Kilo loved his new name, but he was afraid of his new surroundings. As time would have it, Kilo would realize how great his new life would become. Kilo spent the majority of his life in Arizona, but Alaska changed him. Juneau, Alaska became the home that enriched his life and all of his puppy senses. Kilo and his human moved to Juneau, AK in April 2020. Although a stray, a DNA test revealed him to be a Jindo breed. He loved smelling the Earth and claiming his domain and castle. He would guard the house with all of his smiles. Being a Jindo-pup, his favorite sentence was, "We can do that Kilo, we can do whatever we want."
