Pet's Name Peter Pretzel

Pet's StoryI adopted Peter Pretzel from BayPath Humane Society on 9/23/22. Peter AKA White Tail Deer was one of the 4,000 Envigo Beagles rescued from Virginia. Once I found out about this horrendous situation it was my mission to rescue one of these pups as I lost my beagle back in 2011. I was in absolute heaven the day I came to meet Peter and the past month has been nothing but pure joy! Peter is 7 months old and arrived very well mannered, crate trained, and almost all house trained. A few pee pee accidents but just marking his territory, I think. Peter loves all people and doggies. He loves playing at the dog park and his buddies at daycare, especially his big fluffy pals. Peter is so lucky that he was saved from that horrible place and appears to have minimal PTSD compared to the stories I read online. I have also been going through some personal difficulties in my life and Peter has saved me as much as I have saved him. We are just a perfect fit and I can’t thank Baypath Humane Society enough for matching us up.
