Pet's Name Penny

Pet's StoryI met Penny in February 2022. When I went to meet her, Baypath told me she came from Texas with 2 sibilings and that she had been placed in two homes since arriving in MA and returned twice. I took one look at her and knew I wasn’t going to leave her as well. I came back the next day for her and my life has been immeasurably better with her. She is the sweetest girl, loves every person and dog she meets and is just downright a kind and gentle dog. We spent the summer exploring beach towns in New England, including Rockport, MA where that photo was taken. Penny loves the water, loves kayaking with me, hiking and snuggling. Choosing one photo was hard, but this photo shows her pure happiness being out and about, and I can’t help but smile when I look at it. Being able to give her a loving home where she can adventure and be a dog has been a gift.
