Pet's Name Bella

Pet's StoryBella, a chihuahua poodle mix, came to Baypath from Louisiana when she was just about a year old. She was an immediate favorite with the staff and had a habit of wanting to jump into their arms. We fell in love with the scraggly and demure dog and brought her home. She's still scraggly, but demure? Nope. Bella is an energetic, fun-loving spitfire with a ton of opinions. When she came out of her shell we realized just how smart she is: in addition to "jump up" she's learned crawl, roll over, dance, sit pretty, and bow. She still has her sweet side, and likes to be the little spoon while snuggling. In her dog day-care she was voted "highest jumper," and it's well deserved. She's been cousins to several baypath alumni, always managing to keep up with the young dogs. She's almost 10 years old, but everyone she meets (friends, strangers, even the vet) always assume she must be two years old from how much spark she has! She is the best life-companion, bursting with a winning personality. Currently her job is teaching her new brother Sammy, a one year old chihuahua pitt mix, how to be exactly like her: sassy, snuggly, and perfect. Thank you Baypath for helping us find each other!
