Cake Title Cake for Nina!

Cake StoryThis cake was made for beautiful Nina who was turning 3 that year. I got a last minute call to action because they were unsure if she was going to be able to celebrate due to the treatments she was in. I had less than 24 hours notice to make this cake. Her and her father were at Ronald McDonald house in NYC. Candlelighters of NYC threw Nina a party outside of the hospital environment. I got a chance to help decorate for the party before the party guests arrived. The girl of the hour arrived with her friends who were also in treatment. She gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers to say thank you. This was a life changing cake. I was 6 months pregnant and I just knew I needed to continue baking for these beautiful children going through so much.
