Cake Title
Brooklyn’s Puppy Cake
Cake Story
I was given the honor to be requested to do a puppy cake for Brooklyn. I have never done a 3D/gravity cake before but wanted to give Brooklyn the best cake I knew how! This took some sometime and I’m so happy that she was excited and happy when she saw her cake.
Your Icing Smiles Story
Years ago I came across I seen smiles and knew I wanted to sign up for helping put smiles on families faces! I’m so glad that I did. I came across my very first call to action for a family that would look like a birthday cake for their son. Lucas was turning 5 and lived hot wheels. Lucas’ older sister, Brooklyn, has Treacher Collins syndrome. My first cake was a fun cake and in ever bit of the word was fun all around! A few years later, my son was in high school and had autumn Waters class. He kept talking about his teacher, and how much fun he was having in the class, and how awesome his teacher was. Lo and behold, his teacher was Brooklyn’s father! Once my son and her dad found out, I did their sons cake years ago, the family requested me, personally, to do Brookkyn’s dream cake this year. It was puppy themed and she wanted pink! I said yes, but knew I could not just deliver any cake. I had to do some thing that I had never done before which was a Gravity cake! Not only because it was my sons teacher, a family I had made a cake for before, it was for Brooklyn! She is the sweetest little girl, and I did not want to disappoint her!
