Cake Title Elephant Baby Shower Cake

Cake StoryThis 3-D elephant cake was the first cake I made in my new home bakery. I had made a couple very simple carved cakes prior to this (e.g., a clay pot and an open book), but never anything that required an internal structure or intense carving. This cake was a HUGE learning experience, but I love how cute it turned out.

Your Icing Smiles StoryI was first introduced to Icing Smiles at a chocolate convention that I won tickets to. I love their mission to provide custom celebration cakes and other treats to families impacted by critical illness of a child. I have had the opportunity to donate a couple dozen decorated cookies to families and next month I will be making my first cake for a family.
