Cake Title No Tears Past The Gate

Cake StoryThe title of this cake was taken from a Special Moments figurine that has a very special meaning to my husband and I. 38 years ago our eldest child was born with many severe congenital anomalies . God saw fit to take him home after continuous hospitalization at 16 months of age. And though we miss him immensely, we know we will see him again healthy and whole and without pain and have a promise of “No Tears Past The Gate”. Because of our experience and heavenly assurance, I wanted to pass this on to a young couple who were related to friends at church but whom we had never met. They had twin girls and after a couple of weeks one had passed away. I wanted them to feel the reassurance that my husband and I feel. On the top of the cake is the gate with a waste basket outside the gate of old hankies with the twin that passed. Second layer has an angel next to the twin that lived. At the base of the cake is the title saying.
