Cat's Story (150 words)I rescued this beautiful lady about four years ago. She wandered into my Newark Ohio, Home Depot store #3887 where I work. She was very feral and in bad shape. I wanted to help her, so I started feeding her some dry food. Than she disappeared that winter and I thought I had lost her. But she showed up in the spring very pregnant. She gave birth to four beautiful kittens and was a wonderful mom. Thanks to the help of Melissa C., with whom I will always be grateful, and my local human society; we trapped her and had her spayed. We lost her runt to complications, but the remaining three beautiful kittens went to good homes. Against all odds I was told I would probably never tame her, but with a lot of persistence and spending most of my lunch breaks with her, she finally came around and now is the love of my life. Also, many of our customers come in just to visit her.
