Cat's Story (150 words)It’s been said that pets pick their person and I’m so blessed to be Murray’s person. Murray came into our lives at a low time. We had just experienced a death in the family and, at the same time, found an injured kitten who was not able to use her back legs. We brought the kitten to Cat Welfare and that’s when we discovered Murray hiding in a little bed in his cage. When I called his name, he came over to greet us and that’s when I noticed he had a bit of a limp - Murray had a deformed front leg. My heart broke and I knew we had to take Murray home. That was four years ago. Since that day Murray has become my shadow in every way. The unconditional love of a pet – that’s my Murray.
