Cat's Story (150 words)If English was the language of my feline litter mates, they might be saying, "If we weren't inside this porch, we could catch those flying toys and bring them to Mommy." Unlike their predecessor litter mates Salie and Ray, whenever Lauren or Alexis spot birds near the windows they start a primitive-sounding chatter. This may be due to their being rescues from CWA as kittens, found in the bitter cold of January 2015 under a porch. Their hunting instinct is strong, and although the occasional mouse has been caught and presented when finding itself unfortunately indoors, these indoor kitties haven't threatened the birds they and their human enjoy watching at the feeders.
