Cat's Story (150 words)Mr. Beauty certainly lives up to his name, but he is not a family pet, rather he is a feral cat in Atascadero, CA. His home is the wooded banks of a local creek which runs through downtown, and he lives there with about 20 other community cats. Beauty and his feral friends are cared for by a team of volunteers. The cats are fed daily, spayed or neutered, and given medical care when needed. Mr. Beauty has lived in this creekside spot for about 4 years; he is wary and skittish, and you won't see him around unless it is feeding time.
