Your pet's storyI met Boswell at the dog park. I was visiting my sister and didn't have a dog at the time. I had never had one and I always pictured myself with a larger breed. This funny little guy found me. He kept coming up to me wanting to play! He had a terrible ear cropping job, a stout little body, an infectious smile and funny way about him. He was at the park with a dog sitter who said his name was "Boswell". We thought that was a perfect name for his friendly and unique little character. For weeks after the visit I still thought of him. I kept asking my sister if she had seen Boswell and she hadn't. The next time she saw the dog sitter, she learned that the owners gave him up because he scratched their laptop screen. I was horrified! I knew right then I had to find him and bring him home where he would be safe and loved regardless. We tracked him down at the shelter website and drove through a snowstorm to an adoption event to rescue him! He was the BEST little dog. Charming, smart, funny, sweet, quirky, and cuddly. He made us all laugh so much! My husband nicknamed him "Boswell Tiberius Jenkins", it perfectly described his funny and large personality packed into a tiny little body. Boswell passed away a few years ago. He is missed everyday. I'm so grateful that he sought me out a the dog park that day. I never imagined he would eventually come home with me. And I never could have imagined what a wonderful companion he would become. Love you Boswell!!!
