Personalizing your entry can help you get more votes!I took this photo early one morning in March, 2016, as we were taking our dog Sayuri for her daily morning walk around Spring Lake, just over a year after we moved to Santa Rosa. It remains one of my all time favorites, as it shows the seasonal but persistent natural beauty of the lake and the surrounding countryside. The fisherman on the jetty quietly testifies to the moments of solitude waiting to be enjoyed there. I have enjoyed those moments often while kayaking on the lake, especially in rain.
