Personalizing your entry can help you get more votes!Last November, I was taking a hike through Spring Lake and came across these two Mallard Ducks resting on a log. I stopped, grabbed my camera and slowly began to move closer to them. They surprisingly didn't mind and were quite photogenic. I managed to take a couple shots before they quietly hopped off the log and swam away. I was not aware of this, but Mallard Ducks are known to have multiple nicknames one of which is a "drake", quite interesting!
