Cat's Story (150 words)While on our daily walk, we rescued Marbley from a corn field near the road. A week later we couldn't find her. After searching for several hours, we finally found her on the front porch in the watering can. Later we discovered she was a neighbor's barn kitten, had hitched a ride on a truck, then jumped or fell off half a mile down the road. Marbley was initially a shy kitty, but eventually earned the nickname "Braveheart" as she solicited pets from guests and ventured outside to hide under the spirea. Marbley's primary job was laying on clothing or extra blankets on the bed to ensure that they stayed on the bed and didn't move. Marbley loved to play hide and seek and tag. She taught her kitty friends Vivi and Chica to play and she usually won because she made up the rules.
