Rules

Thank you for entering the 3rd Annual Pets for Pride Photo Contest. Please see contest rules and guidelines below. 

 

Entering the Contest

• Click on the "Enter Contest" button under the Entries Tab.
• Entry fee: $5.00 per pet
• Photo of your pet required for participation in Contest

 

Submitting your Photo

• To enter your pet into the JASMYN Pets for Pride Photo Contest, you must provide information about your pet and upload a photograph. There is a $5 entry fee per picture. If your entry fee is not paid, your photo will not be visible in the Contest.
• All photos and votes must be submitted 11:59pm EST on Friday, June 30, 2023.

 

Eligible Pictures

• Photos submitted for the JASMYN Pets for Pride Photo Contest must be uploaded in full color, high quality and high resolution, in JPG or PNG format so they will produce high quality images for the Contest website and its promotion. Photos in a square format are recommended. JASMYN and 360 Photo reserve the right to edit or crop entries to ensure a proper fit for the website and other uses as described below.
• Photos should contain only one pet per picture. If the pet owner wishes to enter another pet, they may do so in an additional entry with an additional photo.
• Photos may not contain people. If a submitted photo features a person, it will not be approved for entry into the Contest.
• Photos must be taken by pet owners; no stock photography accepted. Professional photography acceptable with proof of digital ownership.
• All submitted photos are subject to review by JASMYN, Inc. for inappropriate/offensive content. Incomplete and/or inaccurate entries and/or entries not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification. These entries will not be permitted and there will be no refunds.
  
• Pictures of horses, turtles, birds and/or other pets are welcome to be submitted into the Contest.

 

Grant of Rights in Connection with the Contest

• By paying the entry fee and submitting your pet's photo, you certify that you own the copyright to the picture and that you consent to visual and print media being utilized by JASMYN, Inc. as part of the Pets for Pride Photo Contest. Any images, video clips, interviews, quotes, etc. may be made public by JASMYN, Inc. for use in videos, website, brochures, flyers, educational posters, promotional displays, campaign materials and/or any other type of marketing that promotes the mission and vision of JASMYN, Inc.

 

Voting

• Once your pet's photo is approved, you'll receive an exclusive link to it and you're ready to get the word out for votes!
• To increase your pet's chances of winning, be sure to encourage your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors to vote by sending them the link to your pet's photo. Visit your page often to monitor your progress.
• There is a minimum of 5 votes at the time of voting ($5). Pets will receive one vote for every $1 donated.
• Votes-by-donation must be made individually per pet entry. Your donation cannot be split among several pets.
• The voting period will end Friday, June 30 at 11:59 PM.
• ALL donations will support JASMYN's Healthy Minds Fund.
• Donations to JASMYN, Inc. are tax-deductible by law. Please save your credit card receipts for your tax records. JASMYN, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (tax ID 59-3284175).

 

Winning

• When voting closes at 11:59 PM on Friday, June 30, the pet with the most "votes" i.e. donations to JASMYN will be the winner. 
• The winner of the Pets for Pride Photo Contest will become our JASMYN Mascot 2023! 
• The winner will be announced on Saturday, July 1 (stay tuned - we'll confirm the time well in advance).

Warranties

When you enter the Contest, you warrant that the photograph is original, that you are the sole owner and copyright holder of that photograph, and that you have not granted exclusive rights of that photograph to any other person or entity. You also warrant that the photograph does not invade the right of privacy of any individual; does not infringe any trademark, trade name, trade secret, intellectual property right, or other common law or statutory right; nor does it contain any material that otherwise violates any criminal prohibition or the personal or proprietary rights of any person or entity.

 

Liability 

JASMYN, Inc. is not responsible for printing, typographical, human or other errors of any kind in any Contest-related materials or for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or illegible entries. If, for any reason, JASMYN, Inc. and/or 360 Photo are not capable of running the Contest as planned, or infection by computer viruses, bugs, or tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, actions of entrants, technical failures, or any other causes corrupt or infect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, JASMYN, Inc. reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any entry or entrant and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest and at its sole discretion award a prize from among all eligible non-suspect entries validly received prior to the action requiring such modification.
