Measurements & Ingredients
Blonde Brownies 2 c flour ½ tsp baking soda 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 2/3 c butter 2 c brown sugar, firmly packed 2 eggs, slightly beaten 2 tsp vanilla 1 c chocolate chips 1/3 c chopped nuts
Preparation Instructions
Mix flour, soda, baking powder & salt and set aside. Melt butter in a large saucepan (I used a dutch oven) then add sugar. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture gradually, mixing well. ( I use a whisk and just mix this all up in the dutch oven. ) Spread in 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts; press them down into the dough a little bit.
Oven Temperature and Baking Time
Bake 350 degrees for 30 min. Makes 48 bars.
