Measurements & Ingredients
1 lb thick cut bacon 1 lb pork or turkey sausage 1 lb lean ground beef 2 cans dark red kidney beans 2 cans light red kidney beans 1 can black beans 1 can pinto beans 1 can sweet corn 1 can tomato sauce 1 large onion 1/2 jar of pickled jalapenos
Preparation Instructions
-Brown sausage. Once cooked use a slotted spoon to dish into a large slow cooker making sure to let grease drain before adding. -Cut bacon into bit sized pieces and cook in same pan as sausage. Remove bacon before it gets crispy and add to slow cooker with slotted spoon. -Drain bacon grease but do not wipe down pan. -Brown hamburger with diced onion. Once cooked, add to slow cooker -Add drained beans and corn, tomato sauce, and jalapenos -Mix everything and add spices as desired (I use garlic salt and chili powder)
Oven Temperature and Baking Time
Cook on high for 3-5 hours or low for 6-8 hours
