While professionally her work has focused on emergency management, she has a heart for supporting women and girls. Marcia volunteers her time to sit on boards, committees, and leads specific events that help advance the work environment, family life, and school life for women and girls. She not only volunteers her time, but she spends numerous hours organizing, leading, and hosting activities. Some organizations she has supported include the Junior League, the Commission on Status of Women and Girls, the Oasis Center for Women and Girls, Club 25, and more.
