Rules

• What are the Nominee Eligibility Requirements?
  • Age Requirements: Girls must be 10-17 to be considered for the Wonder Girl Awards. 18+ Nominees will fall within the Wonder Woman Category.
  • Residency: Must Live in Leon County.
  • An embodiment of Wonder Woman Values (Strength, Leadership, Compassion, Service, and Hope)
  • Finalists must be available to attend Awards Night on Oct 27.

   

• How will finalists be selected? 
  • Finalists will be selected by a panel of community judges who will determine the top nominees for the Wonder Woman Awards based solely on their nomination form. A total of 20 Women and 10 Girls will move on to be finalists. They will be announced on October 10th. 

   

• What are the requirements of Wonder Woman Award Finalists?
  • Nominees are aware of their nomination, and understand that their photo, as well as a short bio will be included on the Wonder Woman online voting platform and event social media from October 10th-October 27th if selected as a finalist.
  • Both Nominator and Nominee are aware and understand that the Wonder Woman Awards are a signature fundraiser for Girls on the Run Panhandle (GOTRP). All funds raised will go to support girl scholarships and programming in Leon County. If selected as a finalist, the general public will vote for their preferred finalist by making a donation to GOTRP via the online voting platform. The minimum donation is $1.00. Final winners will be determined based on the top 10 fundraisers (6 Women/4 Girls) by November 4th when voting ends. 

   

  • How long is online voting?
    • Online voting will run from October 10th to October 27th. You can vote as many times as you wish for your favorite finalist. A minimum of a $1.00 donation is required to vote. The bigger the donation/gift the more votes for your finalists. 

     

  • How will the winner be chosen?
    • Our 2022 Wonder Woman Awards winners will be determined by the Women (6) and Girls (4) who have raised the most funds for Girls on the Run Panhandle. 

     

  • When and where will the Wonder Women Awards night be held?
    • The Awards Night will be held on October 27th at Young Actors Theatre. The reception will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Theater doors open at 6:45 p.m., and Program begins at 7:00 p.m. Final Winners will be announced at 7:30 p.m. with awards presentation following.
