BioKatelyn is described as ambitious, kind, smart, and compassionate. She was inspired to help others based on her brother's experience with Leukemia. Katelyn wanted to help all families who have children struggling with medical challenges. Katelyn started a local Be Bold, Go Gold Project where she raises money for pediatric cancer awareness that benefit the Hang Tough Foundation, The Marshall Fisher AYA Cancer Fund at UF Shands, and Trent's Touch Foundation.
