Rules

• A $10 entry fee is required per photo entered. By entering and/or voting you are actually supporting the work MidAmerica Rottweiler Rescue does in assisting Rottweilers in need.  Being a 501c3 Non-profit organization, entry fees and all votes purchased are considered a tax deductible donation. Upon completion of the entry/voting transaction, you will receive a receipt via email to use for tax purposes.
• All entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. 
• All contest donations are processed by a secure (SSL, PCI-Compliant) payment processor.  All major credit cards are accepted.
• Multiple photo entries are encouraged and increase your odds of winning. Please submit your pets name(s) your address (only City/State will be displayed) and a 300 word or less introduction for your photo to help inspire your voting public. 
• Entries must be animal only – no people. Other pets are allowed in the photo but at least one pet must be a Rottweiler or Rottweiler-mix.
• Photos DO NOT have to be of rescued pets to enter. 
• All photos entered should portray Rottweilers in a positive light and must be appropriate for all audiences. Photos that portray the personality of the breed are requested.
• Pictures of dogs in unsafe situations or wearing pinch collars will not be used.
• All entries must be the original work of the entrant (you must own the copy right of the photo). 
• All submitted photos and information become the property of MARR and will be shared on our website - Adoptarott.org, the MARR Facebook page, MARR 2018 Calendar and other media as deemed required.
• The top 13 pictures will be featured in the 2018 MARR Calendar at the discretion of the calendar organizers. 
• Photos must be of high resolutions of high quality with 300 dpi required (1024x768).  They must be clear, clean and in focus to work for the calendar.
• Horizontal/landscape pictures are preferred.
• JPEG or PNG files are preferred.
• MARR reserves the right to crop all photos to fit the given format
• Contest winners will be determined through a voting process. The photo with the most votes will win the Grand Prize and be featured on the 2020 Adopt-A-Rott Calendar cover. (See “Prizes” tab for additional prize distribution)
• Voting is in increments of $1 per vote. However, a minimal donation of $5.00 is required when purchasing votes. Each $1 donated is equivalent to one vote which can be applied to the photo or photos of your choice.
• Everyone is eligible to vote and there is no limit on the number of votes you can cast.
• All Donations are non-refundable.

Participation in the Contest constitutes full and unconditional agreement of acceptance of the Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor.  Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these rules and fulfilling all requirements as set forth herein. In accepting any prize, the winner acknowledges that MARR cannot be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using of a prize.  Furthermore, entrants agree to release and hold harmless MARR and the contest Sponsors and each of their respective officers, directors, representative, volunteers, affiliates and agents from any claims of any nature arising out of the participation in the Contest or receipt and/or use of any prize.  The Contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.  Void where prohibited.

Photo entries will be received from August 1, 2019 12 am CST to September 30, 2019 at 9 pm CST.  Votes will be accepted from August 1, 2019 12:01 am CST until September 30, 2019 11:59 pm CST.  Early photo submission is recommended for the most votes!!!

Please share the contest with your voting public – friends and family.  If you enter a photo, you will receive access to a link to share via email, and on social media networks.  To be a winner, you need to get your pictures in early and promote, promote, promote!  The more you share the better your chances of winning that GRAND PRIZE TRIP TO SUNNY FLORIDA!

MARR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MODIFY OR CLARIFY ANY TERMS OF THE CONTEST RULES DURING THE TERM OF THE CONTEST WITHOUT ADVANCE NOTICE AS DEEMED NECESSARY.

Except where prohibited by law, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually and without resort to any form of class action and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Missouri.  All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrants rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of Missouri, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Missouri.
