CONTEST RULES:

Entering Your Photos

  1. To enter your photos,  click Enter Contest, create an account, or login with your existing account. Your contact information is for Juneau Animal Rescue's use only.  
  2. Submit your favorite high-resolution landscape (horizontal) Alaska pet photos. No portrait (vertical) photos and no people in the photos. See below for more details regarding eligible photos.
  3. There is a $5 entry fee per photo.
  4. Photos from all seasons of the year are encouraged.
  5. By submitting your photo, you agree to all conditions provided on this page.
  6. By submitting your photo, you certify that you own the copyright to the picture and that you agree to grant Juneau Animal Rescue nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable right and license to copy, reproduce, publish in any media, distribute, and display all submitted photos, images, and text.

All photos and votes must be submitted by 12:59 pm AKDT on Sunday, September 3, 2023.


Eligible Photos

  1. Photos submitted for the contest must be landscape (horizontal) , high quality (300 dpi minimum), or 3000 X 2400 pixels, JPEG (JPG) images, so that they will produce nice looking 8x10 images for the calendar. Juneau Animal Rescue and 360 Photo reserve the right to edit or crop winning entries to ensure a proper fit for the printed calendar.
  2. Photos may NOT contain people.
  3. All submitted photos are subject to review by Juneau Animal Rescue for inappropriate/offensive content.
  4. Incomplete and/or inaccurate entries and entries not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification. These entries will not be permitted and there will be no refunds.
  5. If a winning photo does not comply with these rules, Juneau Animal Rescue will have to default to the next highest winning entry.

Voting for photos

  1. To vote, click Donate to Vote and choose the number of votes you want to make. There is a minimum of five votes. Continue through the payment screen and your votes will immediately apply to that entry.
  2. There is no maximum vote limit; voting multiple times throughout the contest is permissible. Ask your friends and family to vote! 
  3. Voting will end Sunday, September 3, 2023, at 11:59 pm AKDT.
  4. ALL proceeds support Juneau Animal Rescue and the animals we serve.
