Rules

We invite you to join the fun by participating in this special ARF Cutest Pet Photo Contest  which helps pets in need. The contest winners will be determined by public online voting. 100% of proceeds benefit abused, starved, and neglected animals we serve.

Deadline to submit & vote is 11:59 PM (EDT) on June 10, 2016.

 
Overall

• Submit a photo of your pet or animal companion (dog, cat, horse, goat, ferret, etc.)
• Photos of all animals are welcome. They don’t need to be rescues.
• No purchase necessary to enter or win.
• ARF Cutest Pet Contest 2016 is open to legal residents of the US who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. If younger than 18, please get permission from a parent or guardian.
• Please recognize that you will need to travel to the Metro Atlanta, Georgia area to receive some of our prizes.
• Don’t forget to share (via email or social media) the contest link to friends and family and encourage them to vote for their favorite photo. Use the sharing buttons that appear on your photo pages.
• Please do not use any profanity, foul language or offensive gestures. Any inclusion will immediately disqualify you.
• The Animal Rescue Fair reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
• All proceeds from the contest entries will help us provide shelter and care for the homeless animals at www.savethehorses.org and www.canineadoptionnetwork.org.

Submitting Photos

• Submitting photos is free.
• You must own the rights to the photograph that you are entering.
• You can submit as many photos of your pets as you like.
• Submit a clear image. If your submission is low resolution or poor quality, your image may be removed or you may be asked for a better quality image.
• Do not digitally alter your photos.
• Photos may not be embellished with text or art.
• Costumes are encouraged, but not required.
• Under no circumstances will entrants’ full name, address, email address or other identifying information be shared, sold or exchanged.
• You can submit images from May 2, 2016 12:00AM to June 10, 2016 @ 11:59PM EDT.
• Once submitted, photos become the property of the Animal Rescue Fair, SavetheHorses, and Canine Adoption Network to be used for print and marketing purposes.

Voting

• The donation required to vote is $1 per vote.
• All voters must purchase a minimum of five (5) votes for a $5 donation. (You can buy as many votes as you want in increments of $5.) Those votes may then be cast for any photo entered in the contest in one vote increments. Voters do not have to use all their votes at the time of donation, you can store votes in your account to use at a later time.
• You can vote on an unlimited number of photos. Multiple votes are encouraged. :)
• Yes, you can vote for your own pet’s photo.
• You can vote from May 2, 2016 12:00AM to June 10, 2016 @ 11:59PM EDT.
• Donations are non-refundable and tax deductible.

The Winners

• Three winners will be selected based on the total number of votes received. (Grand prize and two runner ups.)
• If there is a tie, the ARF Committee will vote for the winner.
• The winners will be announced on Friday June 10, 2016 on our website (animalrescuefair.org) and on the Animal Rescue Fair Facebook Page to be celebrated by our many visitors. Winners will also be contacted by email.
• If the winner cannot be contacted within five (5) business days, the ARF Committee may select an alternate winner.
• The grand prize winner’s entry photo will be displayed at the 16^thAnnual Animal Rescue Fair at Wills Park Equestrian Center (covered Arena) on June 12, 2016 from 12N to 5P. 11915 Wills Road, Alpharetta, Georgia 30004. Visit www.animalrescuefair.org for more details.
