Please tell us how your pet makes a difference in your life:Dante was actually “just” one of the Pixar puppy litter we had living at That BAM Place early in 2019. He and four siblings were relinquished to BAM and he immediately stole my heart. Despite my allergies and limitations to the breeds/species that I can comfortably live with, I considered adding him to my pack of poodles. I realized that I needed to put his needs before my interests and backed off so he could be adopted by another person or family. The couple who did end up adopting him report that he’s still super sweet and loved; his name is now Tucker.

Any additional information about the photo you would like us to know:The Pixar puppies were our first litter to test out a number of puppy enrichment tools. Puppies are shown to become more well adjusted dogs when they’re exposed to different people, objects and sounds early in life, along with learning from their siblings and any adult dogs around. We made this a good excuse to have a puppy party for volunteers, including a teeny ball pit, hats, funny glasses, noisemakers and so much more.
