Thank you for your interest in participating in BAM’s Pets Make A Difference Pet Photo Calendar Contest! The contest is a fun way to show off your furry friend or family member — all while helping homeless animals in our community. All funds raised through photo submissions and voting will help support pets in need through BAM's many community programs.

Official Pets Make a Difference Contest Rules
Eligibility: BAM's Pets Make A Difference Pet Photo Contest (the "Contest") is open to all legal U.S. residents who are at least eighteen (18) years of age. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law or regulations.
1. Digital Photos will be accepted online from Friday, July 26th, 2019, until Tuesday, August 29th, 2019 until 11:59:59 PM (MST).
2. Photos may contain more than one pet, and the contest is open to all domestic animals. We strongly encourage photos that do not include people, but entries may include a person/people as
3. All photos must be uploaded to the contest site. Sorry, we cannot accept hard copies of photos or emails with photos. If your entry was taken by a commercial studio, please email a signed copyright release from the photographer with your name to [email protected]. Images with logos and or watermarks will not be permitted. Horizontal (landscape) orientation is preferred for best finish calendar layout, but not required. Please note, pet of the month winners will be required to resubmit a high resolution (300 dpi) print-quality photo within five days after being notified of winning if the entered photo is too small for clear printing. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit of their winning placement in the Pets Make a Difference 2020 Calendar.
4. Entries must be submitted by the pet owner. You may enter as many photos as you want, however, keep in mind that friends and family votes add up, spreading those votes among multiple entries can limit your chance of winning.
5. Complete the online entry form and submit your photo in a JPEG, JPG, or PNG format. Photo size should be at least 270 pixels by 180 pixels in order to minimize photo distortion online. All submitted photos are subject to review by the

7. Any photo may be automatically disqualified from entry into the contest if:
• choke, pinch or shock collars are displayed
• real fur or the estimation of fur is visible as a prop
• the photo is explicit in nature
• use of distracting photo filters or frames is present
10. All submitted photos become the property of Because Animals Matter to be used at their discretion for marketing purposes, without any additional compensation. By entering, you agree to BAM's use of your pet's name and likeness in such marketing.
