Pet's Name Miller

Pet's StoryMiller was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas as a young pup and brought to MA with his mom and litter mates. He was adopted out to a person who seemed to care for him at first, but later kept him confined to a crate in his own waste. He was not being fed properly and was emaciated—he weighed only 16 pounds when he was surrendered to a local animal control. He spent 4 nights at Tufts in grave condition before being transferred to a medical foster parent. He was nursed back to health over a 3 month period, at which time he was put up for adoption again. We were lucky enough to be able to adopt this handsome boy in May 2022. He now weighs his ideal weight of 35 pounds and is living his best life with us!
