BurlyCon Pet Photo Contest Fundraiser 2023

In honor of BurlyCon turning sweet 16 this year, our goal is to raise $1,600 with our pet photo contest!
Win your pet fame and glory! Plus win some sweet prizes from our sponsors and BurlyCon directors, including a pass to BurlyCon 2024.

CATEGORIES
Purrlesque - Cats! No more than one (1) cat in the picture.
Pinup Pup - Dogs! No more than one (1) dog in the picture.
Best in Barnyard - Animals You'd Find on a Barn (Examples: chickens, horses, cows, sheep). No more than one (1) barnyard animal in the picture.
Pocket Pets - Small Mammals & Reptiles. No more than 1 small mammal or reptile in the picture.
Fishing For Compliments - Aquatic Animals (Examples: turtles, fish, snails, sea snakes, marine iguanas). No more than one (1) aquatic pet in the picture.
Cast & Crew - Two (2) or more pets together in one photo. (Examples: pet families, an entire barnyard of animals, a fish tank)
Bad to the Bone - Pictures of Pets Being Naughty.
Plush Pets - Chonky Pets! No more than one (1) plush pet in the picture.
OVERALL BEST IN SHOW - Winner from any category who has the most votes.


SUBMISSIONS
Enter by August 11, 2023
This is a fur-tastic fundraiser for BurlyCon and a $5 entry fee will be collected per entry into the contest. Each entry will help us scooch closer to our fundraising goal! Enter contest here! You will need to make an account to enter the contest.
The contest is open to all individuals who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. If younger than 18, please get permission from a parent or guardian.

HOW TO ENTER THE CONTEST
Submit a photo of your pet or animal companion and choose the best category. Photos of all animals are welcome and you may submit as many pet photos as you like. Enter your pet's name, category (Purrlesque, Pinup Pup, Best in Barnyard, Pocket Pets, Fishing For Compliments, Cast & Crew, Bad to the Bone, Plush Pets) and story (optional). 

1. Go to https://my.360photocontest.com/burlycon-fundraiser.
2. Click Enter Contest button on Home page in the top right corner.
3. On the Account page, choose Register or Login.
4. Confirm your email address. When you register your email and the site sends a confirmation email, look in your Spam folder for the confirmation email.
5. Once you confirm your email address, login to the site again.
6. Once logged in, click the Enter Contest button.
   
7. Enter Pet’s Name.
8. Add your favorite pet image.
9. Choose your pet category
10. Write your pet’s story (up to 150 characters)
11. Step 2 of 3: Pay entry fee
12. Complete your entry.
13. Using the sharing buttons that appear on your pet photo page(s), share the contest link and encourage friends, family & social medial to vote for their favorite pet(s). It will be your pet, obviously!
    

VOTING
AUGUST 12 - 31, 2023
Voting begins on August 1, 2023 and closes August 31, 2023. Anyone can vote for a pet photo by purchasing votes. 1 vote = $1, starting with a $5 vote minimum. This means if a person wants to vote, the minimum amount they must spend in order to vote is $5. This will give them 5 votes. You do not need to make an account in order to vote.
REMEMBER TO SHARE (via email or social media) the contest link to friends and family and encourage them to vote for their pet(s) in any categories. Use the sharing buttons that appear on your photo pages.
