Pet's Name Blitzen

Your Pet's StoryBlitzen was adopted from HSCC in 2006. I was a volunteer and walked dogs on my day off. I fell in love with Blitzen but, we already had two dogs at home. Blitzen was being treated for heartworm disease. I would always walk him last and spend extra time with him. Blitzen was adopted by someone else. A few weeks later, I received a call from HSCC that Blitzen was coming back. I went that day, 05/15/2006, brought him home and promised him he could stay forever.
