Rules

• Acceptable photo formats are .jpg, .bmp, and .tif
• Photos may contain one or more pets
• Photographs must be in color and contain only pets (no people)
• Photos must be submitted in horizontal (landscape) format for purposes of design
• There is a $5 fee to enter, and each vote is $1.
• Any image that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene, as determined by the staff of Humane Society of Catawba County will be removed from the Photo Fundraiser
• Important: if your submission is low resolution or poor quality, your image may be excluded from the top 12 or you may be asked for a better quality image. To qualify for the top 12, photo entries must be in color , of horizontal orientation , high resolution and able to be printed at a size of 8.5" by 11" without significant loss of quality.
• Please note: The photo you submit will likely not be used in the final publication. If the photo submitted does not meet specifications for design a professional photo will be taken of your pet for final production. Scheduling details will be arranged at the conclusion of the competition. The photo that you submit is for voting purposes only. HSCC will be responsible for taking the final photograph that will be entered into the calendar for consistency and image quality purposes.
